- Implement a high containment ratio to manage traffic within the city.
- Focus on sustainable development for the new city and its surrounding urban centers.

- Prioritize affordable housing for industrial workers.
- Integrate a public transport system including Metro Neo, buses, non-motorized transport (NMT), cycle tracks, pedestrian pathways, and intermediate public transport (IPT).
- Create a central commercial hub with world-class infrastructure and a prominent pedestrian promenade.
- Facilitate heavy industrial traffic via peripheral roads.
- Provide logistics facilities near the airport to meet industrial demands.
- Integrate existing villages into the city’s development plan.
- Establish green buffers along the Yamuna River, water bodies, and canals to enhance environmental sustainability.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has developed a comprehensive plan to guide and encourage development in a structured way. This project aims to promote industrial growth and support the influx of people from across Uttar Pradesh and nearby regions. The initial phase includes the creation of a Perspective Plan for the entire notified area and a Draft Master Plan 2031 for parts of Gautam Budh Nagar and Bulandshahr within the NCR.
The vision for the YEIDA area is to establish it as a hub of industrial activity, complemented by knowledge-based institutions, residential zones, commercial areas, and other essential urban features. Positioned along the Yamuna Expressway, which connects major tourist destinations like Agra and Delhi, the area will benefit from enhanced trade and commerce. Given the numerous educational institutions nearby, the plan also includes developing regional and local educational facilities.
The overarching goal is to harness growth potential sustainably, fostering economic development centered on industry, residential, and recreational amenities. This will be supported by cutting-edge infrastructure while preserving environmentally sensitive areas.
